Her newest endevor is serving as the music director of WFNP, the college's radio station.

Alyssa interned at Townsquare Media, a radio and digital media company, in Poughkeepsie, NY. Here she furthered her knowledge of digital advertising, audio production, and sales in a local market for a large corporation.

In her free time, Alyssa is a freelance photographer. Her work focuses on the DIY music scene of New Paltz, NY photographing the artists performing in the local bars and house show venues and the crowds they attract.

The project started in January 2023 with a Battle of the Bands event at the bar Snug Harbor. She began documenting each show she attended and posted them to social media on her Instagram account @picsby.alyss. Over two years later, the project is ongoing with well over 1,000 photos posted.

Going into her senior year at SUNY New Paltz, Alyssa plans to continue the project through graduation.
